Chandrayan-3 update

The Chandrayaan-3 landing :-

is scheduled for August 23, 2023. The lander, Vikram, is currently in a lunar orbit of 153 km x 163 km. On August 22, it will perform a deboosting maneuver to lower its orbit to 75 km x 121 km. On August 23, it will perform a final deboosting maneuver to lower its orbit to 10 km x 12 km. The landing is scheduled to take place at 1:30 AM IST (10:00 PM UTC).

The Chandrayaan-3 mission is India's third lunar mission. The first two missions, Chandrayaan-1 and Chandrayaan-2, were both successful in orbitimg the Moon. Chandrayaan-2 also attempted to land a lander and rover on the Moon, but the lander crashed during the final descent.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission is carrying a lander and a rover. The lander will be used to soft-land on the Moon's surface. The rover will then be deployed to explore the lunar surface.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission is a major milestone for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It will be India's first soft landing on the Moon's south pole. The south pole is a region of the Moon that has never been explored before. The mission is expected to provide valuable insights into the Moon's geology and history.

I will keep you updated on the Chandrayaan-3 landing.
