Dr Vishal Rao, Invented a voice device ,regain their voice after surgery. Cost ( Only ₹50)

INDIAN Doctor Dr. Vishal Rao, an oncologist from Bangalore, has invented a voice device called Aum that can help throat cancer patients speak after surgery. The device is made of silicone and costs just ₹ 50 ($0.70), which is much cheaper than the existing options on the market, which can cost up to Rs. 30,000 ($420).

Dr. Rao developed the device after seeing the struggles of throat cancer patients who could not afford the expensive prostheses. He wanted to create a device that was affordable and accessible to everyone in affordable price.

The Aum voice prosthesis is placed in the opening between the windpipe and food pipe, which is created during surgery. The device vibrates when air passes through it, creating sound. This sound is then amplified by the vocal cords, which are still present in the throat.

The Aum voice prosthesis has been shown to be effective in helping throat cancer patients regain their speech. It is also very safe and easy to use.
Dr. Rao has received numerous awards for his invention, including the BBC's 100 Women award in 2017.

In addition to developing the Aum voice prosthesis, Dr. Rao is also a researcher and educator. He has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has given lectures at universities and conferences around the world. He is also a recipient of the Royal College of Surgeons' Honorary Fellowship.

Dr. Vishal Rao is a true inspiration. He is a dedicated doctor who is passionate about helping others. His invention of the Aum voice prosthesis has made a significant difference in the lives of many throat cancer patients. He is a true example of how innovation can improve the lives of people around the world.
